Why roughcast?
Not every roughcasting job needs a whole-house recoat.
Cracks, blown sections and weathered gables can usually be patched and colour-matched for a fraction of the cost - saving you a full job for another decade.
Colour-matched on site
We mix to match your existing weathered finish - usually invisible within weeks.
Stops further damage
Sealing cracks stops water getting behind the render and freezing.
Fraction of full-recoat cost
Most repairs are hundreds, not thousands.
Quick turnaround
Typical repair job is 1–2 days on-site.

Common questions
Things homeowners ask
- Yes - we mix on-site. Once it's weathered for a couple of weeks the patch usually disappears completely.
- If more than ~40% of the wall has failed, a full recoat is usually better value. We'll tell you straight at the survey.
- A properly prepped and applied patch will last as long as the surrounding original work - typically 20+ more years.
- Roughcasting adds a real protective and thermal layer to your walls - sealed against wind-driven rain and noticeably warmer inside.
- A typical semi-detached house takes 4–7 working days depending on weather and prep needed.
